    Sundown Audio neo series midbass.

    NeoPro Series

Facebook says that they are taking pre-orders....

    Looks cool to me.

    In for specs!

Good in car door- meaning IB?

I believe they were designed to work IB. They are "pa style", get loud, but lack midbass.

Te website notes that they are more likely to make midbass than the common PA midbass.

I'd love to see final specs.

If they have 4-5mm 1 way linear xmax and play to 80 fine, that's as much midbass as I'd need.

Has anyone given these a go? I was tempted to try a pair of the 8's in place of the HAT L8V1's I have. Maybe we could get a set tested?

"The NeoPro speakers are well known for their smooth sound as well so they aren't just for getting loud."

If they are well known it means they have been out already and are very popular. :P

I don't think pro audio drivers lack bass because they are designed for ported boxes as much as they trade off low end extension for sensitivity. The cure is then a HI FI driver. I don't get it. Will it hold a candle to B&C, 18Sound, or BMS?
