    The Greats

    Carry over from the 'Now Playing' thread. Post up some albums that any music lover should own.

    Since Gary gave me idea for this thread when I posted this one in the now playing thread I'll start with it.

    And somebody posted Empire by Queensryche. Good album, but Operation Mindcrime was their standout IMO of course. But Operation Mindcrime set the stage for Empire where Empire just didn't quite live up to the standard set by Operation Mindcrime.



    More are going to come to me as I think about them more and more. I've almost forgot about albums in general and go for compilations or self made compilations.

    And as soon as I hit "Reply" I immediately kick myself for being horribly remiss in forgetting to add this gem.

    I constantly have this exact same debate with a close friend of mine. He swears by Mindcrime and I like the more finished sound of Empire. Exact same debate. That's pretty funny really.
