    That's why I face my home stereo speakers at each other and put a rug between them.

    Put them on axis and use drivers that sound good that way, rather than using the reflections to attenuate FR?

    I'm just spitballing here, my car doesn't image for crap...

    This would be fine if you want invasive pods, or kill the stealth appearance that myself and others want to retain.

    My car sounds great off-axis.

    Frequency sweep with dash mat in place and removed. Mic in same position, same equipment used. No difference.

    Dammit, the quote didn't come through. This was in response to the comment about npdangs testing being flawed.
