    The new layout looks nice, but inline links in posts are too hard to spot.

    They're not underlined, and the dark red color doesn't stand out as very different from the black text. A couple times, I've completely glossed over the fact that there were links in a post.

    How about making the blue icon for forums with new posts a little darker? It can be hard to identify when reading on my smartphone in direct sunlight, like when walking around the building at work taking a stress break.

    Thanks for the input. I tried different colors in the links, but everthing seemed to clash with the rest of the theme. VB has an option to add underline to the links, but it made the forum home look too busy. I finally found a template modification to where the links are highlighted in posts only and it seems to work.

    I agree. I had been playing around with the style weeks ago trying to fix it, but I got flustered and gave up. Thanks for kicking me into action.
